MARGARET CROOM IS MAGSY
After years of being in the digital and tech industry in many locations, Margaret and her husband Mike, moved to the PNW, settling on Whidbey Island during COVID. They bought a home the community calls ‘Chateau Whidbey’, on the bluff facing Camano Island. Margaret created a delightful supper club to meet fellow foodies and bring her version of a With Magsy experience.
In the Southwest, gatherings are a way of life, and With Magsy events capture that spirit. These curated gatherings offer unique opportunities to connect with people you might not ordinarily meet—individuals who value meaningful interactions and a great time. Margaret has written a book “The Easygoing Host: Your Guide to to Hosting Relaxed and Enjoyable Dinner Gatherings“. It reached #1 in it’s category on Amazon on the first day it was launched. She hopes that the ‘gather culture’ she grew up in will come across in the book to help hosts give that “I got this vibe’ in order to create in person gathering over great food!

It was marvelous, and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Thank you for putting that together. I probably have no idea how much actual effort it entails, but I think the level of preparation and coordination really showed up well. I loved the mingling. I think that might have been my favorite part!

Mike and I really enjoyed ourselves today as well as our friends Kathleen and Tom. We couldn’t stop cooing over your beautiful home and I made sure they visited your circular bathroom to enjoy what you’ve done especially the infinity reflection mirrors and inlays.
A Parisian theme is so chic and not only paired with your décor gorgeously but even the grey, cloudy weather was very Paris in the spring.
A Beautiful Setting on the Bluff, Gorgeous Views!
… saturated in a very “French Chateau” atmosphere, I was immediately welcomed, as a solo guest, and given my name tag.
I was thinking to myself, how is ALL of this so good? There was lovely banter in between, a sort of “get to know everyone”….which I truly believe helped bring us all together in the experience.
I am so glad I went!
I Met New Friends!
This was my first time attending. I had no idea what to expect and that made me a bit apprehensive about coming as I would be by myself. From the moment I arrived, you and Mike welcomed me as if we were old friends sharing your house for a wonderful evening! I look forward to my next chance to attend another event!
